TIE Blog 2
Wow! I cannot believe this semester is coming to an end! This has been a stressful and busy few months! I know I have worked extremely hard throughout this semester! I was extremely excited to be enrolled in this technology course. I have some prior knowledge of technology from previous classes in my college career. Overall, I think my voice thread lesson went well! This was my last lesson of the semester! This was a bittersweet lesson for me, but my lesson went great! I enjoyed working with my students to create this and I hope you do too! Here is my voice thread
What worked well I feel like once I got the hang of this voice thread it seemed to work smoothly. My students had no problem wanting to speak and tell me about what they have learned. I think this is a great idea to show parents what their students are learning in the classroom. My students loved seeing the whole thing put together!
What I could have done differently would be to have access to the internet with our laptops. Maybe if we were provided with more headphones in the classroom to utilize both computers. Maybe I could have used the computer lab or library instead of the classroom. Also, it was hard to get the voice thread in since I had time constraints. Maybe next time I could have allowed myself extra time.
What could I have done differently to make this a better lesson?

This is such a cute idea! I am starting to like VoiceThread because it lets me see other teachers lessons and creative ideas. This looks like it was such a fun lesson!
ReplyDeleteYour VoiceThread is a good preliminary activity for students, if you're wanting them to learn how to comment and doodle. The closed-end questions, however, left little possibility for interaction for other students. Remember - open-ended questions in which everyone can contribute to the collective whole is better for applications such as VoiceThread.
